Inner TRIM3 Masthead

For NRPs with wages under $16,000, the look-up table varies by the age of the NRP (<30, 30-39, 40-49, 50+), number of nonresident children (1, 2, 3, 4+), and wage level (in $1,000 increments). The look-up table shows the deciles for the amount of child support paid for each group defined by these age, number of nonresident children, and wage level groups.

For NRPs with wages between $16,000 and $49,999, the look-up table has the same age and number of nonresident children categories as for persons with wages under $16,000, but the wage ranges are in $2,000 increments (for wages of $16,000 through $30,000), $5,000 increments (for wages of $30,000 through $40,000), and a $10,000 increment (for wages of $40,000 to $49,999). Instead of showing dollar amounts, the look-up table shows the child support payment as a percentage of wages.

For persons with wages of $50,000 and above, the look-up table does not vary by the age of the nonresident parent, but does vary by the number of nonresident children. Wage ranges are defined in increments of $10,000 (for wages of $50,000 to $100,000) and $25,000 (for wages of $100,000 to $200,000), with the top wage range defined as $200,000 and above. The look-up table shows the child support payment as a percentage of wages.
