A person is considered to be a student in each month that the input variable MonthlyLaborForceActivity has a value of 7 ("Going to school"). Note that this variable is only available for CPS-adults (age 15+). However, the determination of student status is generally only required by TANF for persons too old to meet a strict age definition of "child". Since these age cutoffs are generally higher than 15, the limited availablity of this variable is not significant.
